拥抱，不是中国人的习惯
在你的国家，人们有拥抱的习惯吗？

在很多西方国家，人们见面的时候，经常互相拥抱。在别的许多国家，也经常可以看见人们拥抱。但是，在亚洲国家，人们还不太习惯拥抱。同样，拥抱也不是中国人的习惯。

在中国，亲人、爱人和好朋友才会互相拥抱。中国人表示友好的方法常常是握手和点头。不熟悉的人、刚认识的人，见面的时候常常握手。握手的时候，要看着对方的眼睛，一边微笑一边握手。朋友见面，一般只点一点头。对不熟悉的人，也可以微笑点头。

“但是”，连词。表示转折。
“但是” is a conjunction that indicates “transition”.
但是，在亚洲国家，人们还不太习惯拥抱。

(2) 中国菜很好吃，但是有的菜太辣（spicy）。

习惯

“习惯” 作动词时，表示形成某种行为、习俗；“习惯”也可以作名词，表示形成的行为、习俗。
“习惯” can be used as a verb, with the meaning of “form certain habit or custom”. When used as a noun, it refers to the habit or the custom formed.
同样，拥抱也不是中国人的习惯。
Likewise, hugging is not a Chinese custom either.
(1) 有的人习惯早上散步，有的人习惯晚上散步。你呢？
(2) 每天运动是一个好习惯。
