有个留学生叫马可，他有个中国女朋友。有一天，女朋友请马可到家里来吃饭。女朋友家的门口，挂着两个红红的大灯笼。
早上九点，马可手里就拿着玫瑰花到了女朋友家门口。他看到红红的灯笼，就站在那里等待，一直没有进去。过了很长时间，他的女朋友很着急，于是给马可打电话。马可说：“我已经到你家门口了。”女朋友觉得很奇怪，说：“那你为什么不进来?”“你家门口有两个红灯，我正在等待红灯变绿灯呢。”

in the process of
“正在”，副词。表示动作在进行中或状态在持续中，后边接动词或形容词。
“正在”is an adverb that indicates “an action in process or a standing state”. It’s used before a verb or an adjective.
你家门口有两个红灯，我正在等待红灯变绿灯呢。
You have two red lanterns hung in front of the door. I’m waiting for them to turn green.
(1) 老师正在上课，如果你要找他，请下课后再来。
(2) 星期天的早晨我正在睡觉，突然电话响了。真麻烦！。
